What it is
A study tool for the absolute top floor of Japanese Kanji. The obscure compounds, the four-character idioms, the proverbs almost nobody outside Japan can read.
Japanese people use it to find their own proverbs in English.
Built since December 2016 with Bret Mayer, the first non-Japanese person to pass Kanji Kentei Level 1. Fewer than 200 people in the world have done that. He brought the obsessive scholarship; we built the site around it.
